Finger bands Selfcare
Finger bands Selfcare
HOW IT WORKS: Thuasne Finger Splints provide flexible support for the long fingers of the hand following trauma, sprain, dislocation, or fracture. Unlike a splint, this device allows joint mobility because it is placed on the phalanges. An interdigital separation helps prevent friction between the fingers. The finger splints can be tightened according to the individual's morphology/need for immobilization.
INDICATIONS: Finger traumatology (sprains, dislocations); Non-displaced phalangeal fractures: Resumption of activity/sport. Thuasne Finger Splints are designed for daily activities and resumption of sports practice following a finger trauma (especially for team sports with balls such as volleyball or basketball).
EASY TO USE: Immobilize the affected finger with the adjacent finger that is least bothersome for daily tasks. Attach the bands to the phalanges, avoiding the joints to maintain their mobility. It is possible to cut the bands to adjust their height. Check that the flexion and extension of the fingers are preserved and that the bands are not too tight for blood circulation. The application is illustrated in the user manual.
ONE SIZE: Thuasne Finger Splints come in one size. They are suitable for long fingers, not suitable for the thumb. They are washable and reusable. Composition: polyamide, EVA foam, polyethylene, elastane.
